You might enjoy reading "Mommy Dressing" by Lois Gould. She is Jo Copeland's daughter and the book is a memoir about her childhood. It's kind of a "Mommy Dearest" expose, but you get a few details about Copeland mixed in. Did you know she actually had ribs removed to make her waist smaller?
