Apricot Crush

I spied this lovely retro styled fashion shoot (gosh they are everywhere these days) over at Fashion Gone Rogue. From the Turkish edition of Marie Claire I've got no idea which international designer is responsible for this detailed and devilishly pretty apricot dress, but I fell for it immediately. Can anyone help me out here?
Love the earrings too, and the luxe room, but in terms of beauty trends I'll be glad when the no eyebrow look goes out of style. Surely Mother Nature gave us eyebrows for a reason?
Photographer is Tamer Yilmaz.

I guess the eyebrow thing is naturally fair girls not penciling their eyebrows. It's kind of a move to "natural" that I've noticed lately when I check out fashion. Pale skin is gaining acceptance, as is gapped teeth (they're EVERYWHERE), and the very slow move to more curvy mainstream models. I think it's cool. Be the best version of yourself, but don't change who you are.

Also like the "vintage not vintage" fashions. That dress isn't strictly based on history, but carries a rustle of fluffy petticoats and the faintest whiff of sweet perfume. How lovely and feminine.

Ha, I heartily agree. Mismanaged eyebrows, or lack thereof is a big pet peeve of mine..

Btw, How is the Edith Head book? My coworker just got it and I was jealously skimming through it... on my wish list.

xoxo,
Leah

Haha, I have no eyebrows but not on purpose, I promise!!

Yup, back in Sydney now and job hunting. I'm a tad bored at my current place and need something challenging and meaty to sink my teeth into. Going from the exciting full on world of events to an admin job in education is not quite cutting it for me.

Maybe we could get together after christmas, my diary is slowly getting booked out!

Wedding photos are up on the blog too :)

Hmmm, yes. I probably meant bleached eyebrows rather than no eyebrows. Don't you think it gives the models rather than an alien look? Though maybe that's the point?
I love the gap-toothes models. And the fuller figures. Bring it on I say.
