Loveliness: Lena Hoschek

A couple fellow bloggers astutely posted pics of German designer Lena Hoschek's A/W 2010 collection, which was shown at Berlin Fashion Week last month. There are few current designers that have me salivating for every item in their collection, but Lena's collection did just that. I WANT this blouse.

I was prompted to check out her website for more retro inspired loveliness; Lena draws inspiration from rockabilly culture, pin-up girls and Hollywood stars. Her designs truly are catnip to the vintage lover.
Anyway, I completely fell in love with her S/S 2010 collection too, which draws heavily on Polynesian/Hawaiian dress and includes items that would look thoroughly gorgeous on guests at my upcoming wedding. If only I could dress them all ... ha ha!

Don't you love the Elvis does Hawaii print? And that swimsuit is a dream.
You can check out the A/W collection on the German Vogue site.
And for the rest of the S/S collection, visit Lena's website.

Lena Hoschek has absolutely rocked the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Berlin last week! We love her new spring/summer collection 2011. With Lena the 50s pin-up style get a special revival - the classic 50s cut combined with fancy prints and unique details creat the typical „Hoschek Style“.
You can already get the new autumn/winter collection 2010/11 in her shops. Check out the new stuff on her reworked website. Current news about the hot designer Lena Hoschek you can find at www.facebook.com/lenahoschekfashion -> we like LENA HOSCHEK
